Piotr Chizinski’s current work investigates the underlying misconceptions associated with classism in the United States. In The Living Room Scale Project, and his Centre for Calculation, Chizinski utilizes sociological research methodologies to investigate cultural and technological artifacts, reconfiguring them to expose the viewer to new ways of understanding. The ultimate goal of the work is to make the viewer comfortable enough with certain information to utilize principles of logic and reason to evaluate its validity.
